A great-great-great granddaughter of iconic novelist Charles Dickens, Catherine is half-English and half-Hungarian. Before moving to Central Europe in the early 2001, she worked for more than a decade in the hospitality industry in the Caribbean, including management of two exclusive private island resorts.

Catherine founded the company in April of 2002 with her husband, Christopher Gore, the chief executive of MAI Ltd., Central Europe’s largest independent insurance brokerage, who has worked in the region for nearly two decades. Catherine and Christopher currently reside on an estate near Budapest, where they produce wine and gourmet fruit preserves.

While Catherine focuses on design and business development, Tibor holds overall responsibility for management of the firm and its operations. A native of Budapest, Tibor was trained as an engineer and designer in Germany and New York, and has been active in the local property industry since his early 20s. He joined the firm in 2006, and considers glass design and sculpture among his greatest enthusiasms.
